My favorite flower is the Lily of the Valley, and has been longer than I can remember. I also like purple Irises as they were my great grandmother’s favorite, yet her name was Rose, and I’d always enjoyed this twist. I am a good advice giver, and a bad advice taker. I’ve never eaten a Twinky, been punched in the face, owned a dishwasher or seen the major motion picture film, Titanic. I’ve reached summits in Switzerland, roamed the streets of Paris in the Rain, scuba-ed in the Indian Ocean, eaten the eyes and feet of fish and meat, partied with rock stars, pet a snowy owl, watched the sunrise on the Caribbean with a bottle of wine, swam naked in the Mediterranean, and with sea turtles and reef sharks (not naked). I’ve been thrown from a horse, projected from a motorcycle, dumped overboard in rapids, and dropped in a river. I’ve had revolutionaries in music and culture over for cocktails, as well as a gracious gaggle of douche-bags. My favorite place to sleep is on the beach. I’ve sometimes the mouth of a sailor and the mind of a 1950’s housewife.
I currently reside with my two Boston Terriers in a pre-war hovel we call home in Brooklyn.
